The Manchester Test between England and India, which ended in a draw, was not without drama on and off the field. Arguably the most extensive conversation piece came in the last hour of play, when England skipper Ben Stokes proposed a draw to India. Stokes went up to Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar with 15 overs remaining and asked if they were interested in finishing the game early. The Indian all-rounders, though, turned down and decided to carry on batting. Jadeja and Sundar, who had been spearheading India's rescue effort, then went on to post unbeaten centuries. Jadeja remained 107*, while Sundar was left on 101*. Their 203-run partnership not only rescued the match but also kept the series alive for India, who now travel to The Oval for the last Test needing a victory to level the series. Some of the English bowlers started bowling slow bouncers with an exaggerated release, usually referred to as "donkey drops," as a gesture of protest. Nevertheless, after both Jadeja and Sundar scored their hundreds, the two teams finally met on friendly terms, and the match concluded in a dramatic draw. The incident has since become a mix of cricket and cinema, as fans enjoy Bachchan's reaction as much as the tense moments from the game.
