The claim that Test cricket is still alive beyond the stadium has been proved by the recently concluded Anderson-Tendulkar Series, as it broke the digital viewership records by JioHotstar. The series drew the attention of 170 million viewers throughout the five Tests, the highest for any Test series across any digital platform. Not only that, the entire series gathered 65 billion minutes of watch time. Several players on the field said that fans turned up in huge numbers at the Oval on day 5, despite knowing the match would be wrapped up in half an hour. On JioHotsar, the craze was nothing different, as it accumulated 13 million viewers, the peak throughout the series. The final day of the Test match was in balance; England had 4 wickets in hand and had to chase 35 runs. However, the Indian fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna kept the pressure with the old ball and took Jamie Smith and Jamie Overton before completing 80 overs. Siraj stood as the player of the match with 9 wickets from both innings. India won the match by a whisker of 6 runs, and this leveled the series at 2-2. The Lords' Test was sealed by England by 22 runs, despite the Indian tails showing great fight with the bat at the end. Twin centuries from Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar ensure a draw at Manchester, with India finally winning at Oval by 6 runs.
