Kerr edged out Deandra Dottin and Laura Wolvaardt for the October honor, while Noman outperformed Kagiso Rabada and Mitchell Santner for the men's award. He took 20 wickets, averaging 13.85 in the two Tests. It was Noman's spell that was instrumental for Pakistan to come back after the first Test defeat in Multan. In the second Test, he took eight wickets, conceding 46 runs, helping Pakistan to seal a 152-run victory. In the third test at Rawalpindi, he took a match-winning 6 wickets in the second innings, giving away 42 runs, ensuring a series win.
