Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian cricketer, has recently undertaken the “This or That” challenge and elaborated on who he found more challenging to face during his playing career. The ex-batter turned commentator picked Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Sunil Narine over Jasprit Bumrah of the Mumbai Indians (MI) as the toughest bowler he had faced. Rayudu's IPL career was very successful, with six titles; three with MI (2013, 2015, 2017) and three with CSK (2018, 2021, 2023). He shares the record with Rohit Sharma for the most IPL titles. In a video clip uploaded by ESPNcricinfo, Rayudu stated how he was asked to make a comparison of top bowlers he had faced in both the IPL and international arena. Early on, he went with Mitchell Starc over Lasith Malinga. In the case of Sunil Narine vs Starc, Rayudu made no bones about selecting the KKR spinner. He also stuck with Narine against Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Pat Cummins. He ignored the likes of Mohammad Amir, Trent Boult, and Mohammed Shami in favor of Narine.
