Alzarri Joseph returns to the West Indies outfit for the final three T20s of their series against England, having completed a ban. But all-rounder Andre Russell ruled out with a left ankle injury. So far in the series, West Indies trail England 2-0 so they would need to win the third T20I on Thursday to keep going. Suspended for two games, Joseph is coming back to reclaim his position, which his counterpart, Shamar Joseph, had taken in his place. Cricket West Indies had suspended the player for two matches following his decision to leave the field without permission while his team was still a player short after the third ODI against England. Later, Joseph publicly and privately apologized for what he had done to the one-day captain, Shai Hope. In his comeback, his return now should do justice in rallying the struggling West Indies team, especially in their current situation. Springer, playing his first T20I against Sri Lanka showed promise by taking 1 for 25 and 1 for 24 in his two games. Skipper Rovman Powell would probably look at using Springer to bolster up what has seen an anemic bowling attack so far against England. England has chased the targets of 159 and 183 in the first two matches with ease, losing only five wickets altogether. West Indies haven't kept the top-order batsmen of England, especially Jos Buttler, under control, and Powell hasn't still found the right combination of bowlers. Terrance Hinds, who played in the second T20I in place of someone, had a pretty tough start. He added five runs on while batting at No.11 and conceded as many as 24 runs in his two overs while he went wicketless. The West Indies will hope that Joseph's return along with Springer might be what they needed to boost the remaining games.
