As the 34-year-old captain, Healy faced a tough decision and ultimately opted to sit out of the critical semi-final. After the match, she opened up about the severity of her injury. Healy said: "It was a really hard decision to make last night as to whether or not we were going to give it a punt or not. I tried to make the team decision and sat myself down instead of taking the risk. It was hard to watch knowing that you can't really go out there and help, but like I said, it was good to see so many positives throughout the tournament.” Healy also mentioned that additional evaluations would take place once the team returned home, particularly with the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) in mind.
