There has always been chat around the selection of Indian team when they travel to SENA countries, and the hot discussion has always been on their spinner selection. On the foreign tours, India do not bank much on their spinners; they often ignore champion spinners like Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal. This time Australian legend Allan Border raised questions on Indian selection for not selecting wrist spinners like Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal. Last time when Kuldeep Yadav played here in Australia, he had a great outing; he bowled brilliantly in the Sydney Test match in the 2018 series. For not selecting such a champion, bowlers Allan Border slammed Indian selectors. Here is what Allan Border said in an interview with Times of India “I'm surprised India haven't brought Yuzvendra Chahal or Kuldeep Yadav. It's hard to develop a leg-spinner. A Shane Warne doesn't come along every day. I don't think captains use leg-spinners very well," “They (captains) want the leg-spinners to be like Warne, but captains are very defensive, They need to realize it's going to take a while for a young leg-spinner to develop. You need to give him protection. You've got to have the captaincy to bring the best out of a leggie," Border added.
