Aakash Chopra Reveals KKR's Likely Captain for IPL 2025 Shardul Thakur, the bowling all-rounder of the Indian team, has recently revealed the conversation between him and Rohit Sharma. Both players are good old friends who play for their domestic team Mumbai, Thakur praised the six-hitting ability of Rohit Sharma and mentioned how he earlier said that he just needed one good inning to get back his form. In an interview with RevSportz, Shardul Thakur said: "The way he was batting (in Cuttack ODI vs England), it did not even seem like he was out of form even once. He might get out in some balls, that happens to everyone in the nets. Apart from that, he looked very comfortable out there. It's just a matter of luck...you can only blame luck. The way he hits those sixes, he is such a dangerous batter in every scenario. His class is different from all the rest.” Shardul further mentioned that Rohit was confident of getting his form back despite being in poor form. He further added: "When he played that Ranji game for us and did not score runs, we had a chat because he had not scored in Australia either. But he was so confident that he told me, “I know the runs are not coming now, but all I need is just one innings. Then, runs will come automatically again.” Rohit Sharma not only returned to his batting form but also led the side really well in the recently concluded ODI series against England where the Indian team emerged victorious with a 3-0 margin.
