The just-concluded T20I series between India and Bangladesh, by no means, saw the dearth of some swashbuckling cricket where the ball got smacked to all parts of the ground. The bowlers were at the mercy of the batters as what was witnessed was absolutely a run fest. However, it was rapid paceman Mayank Yadav who got his debut right at the start of the series who proved really tough to crack. Though he took just four wickets in the three matches, the consistency he was gaining in terms of his pace was certainly something the world had not seen. "When we are talking about finds, Mayank Yadav needs to be spoken about. He has been fast-tracked. He has hardly played any first-class matches and he straightaway came into the Indian team. He had just returned from injury, hadn't played any competitive cricket, and was suddenly playing for India," stated Chopra in a video on his official YouTube channel. Chopra continued to dig into what he felt was in store for the Delhi-born quick in terms of the upcoming series Down Under. However, he is a little apprehensive about Mayank's lack of domestic exposure being a hindrance to his professional growth. "He is definitely one of the big positives because he is a part of the traveling reserves as well. I feel the Indian team is thinking about taking him for the BGT, to at least keep him with the team. However, I do feel it might be a little early because the repertoire of first-class cricket is not yet ready. Sometimes, you go with your gut and say let's try as he can make a difference," mentioned Chopra.
