Ajinkya Rahane has maintained his good IPL 2025 form with another brilliant innings in the KKR vs CSK encounter at Eden Gardens. After winning the toss & electing to bat first, the KKR captain played with aggression, purpose and set the tone for the other KKR players. He also passed the 5000 IPL run milestone in the process, joining greats like Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma. Ajinkya Rahane has been the frontrunner in scoring for Kolkata Knight Riders this season, and once again put his side in a strong position. After Rahmanullah Gurbaz fell cheaply, Rahane embarked on different partnerships with Sunil Narine and powered a total of 67 runs in the powerplay. He became the 7th Indian and only 9th player overall to enter this club. Rahane has been around the IPL for a long time and is one of the few IPL players to play every season, including the likes of KL Rahul, Kohli and Rohit.
