Afghanistan will visit Zimbabwe for a lone Test and three T20Is in October this year. The nations were set to face each other in two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is under the Future Tours Programme. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe last contested each other in Zimbabwe in December 2024 and January 2025. All four fixtures will be staged at the Harare Sports Club. It will be the first time that the ground will host a red-ball match in four years. All nine of Zimbabwe's home Tests have been hosted by the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo and the hosts have lost all of them. The previous time Zimbabwe hosted Afghanistan through 2024/25, they had lost the multi-format series. The T20I series was lost 1-2. Two matches were won by Afghanistan in the 50-over leg, with the first match getting washed away. The two Tests were drawn and won by Afghanistan, respectively. Also Read | Will RCB Join SA20?
