Afghanistan have announced their ODI squad for the Bangladesh series which is set to take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE from November 6 to 11. In a major development, they have added two new members to their squad for this series. Sediullah Atal and Noor Ahmed have been added to the 19-member squad. In light of injuries to key players Ibrahim Zadran and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, some changes have been made to the squad. Zadran, currently recovering from ankle surgery, will be unavailable for the series. In his place, the in-form Sediqullah Atal has been called up. Atal, who has impressed in the ACC Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, brings promise after playing six T20 Internationals. Additionally, talented young spinner Noor Ahmad has returned to the squad, having missed the recent ODI series against South Africa. His inclusion will bolster Afghanistan’s spin attack, which will be without Mujeeb Ur Rahman due to a finger injury. With the inclusion of key players like Noor Ahmad and Sediqullah Atal, the team is in a strong position to maintain their momentum and continue their impressive rise in international cricket.
