The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced the squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Bangladesh, which is to be played from October 2-14 in the United Arab Emirates. Afghanistan Squads for Bangladesh Series Rashid Khan will be the captain of the T20I team, with Ibrahim Zadran as his vice-captain. Wicketkeeping will be done by Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Ishaq. Call-ups have been given to Wafiullah Tarakhil and Mohammad Saleem Safi, and Noor Ahmad and Mujeeb Ur Rahman also find places. Mujeeb was fined under Article 2.2 for knocking over the stumps with his towel throughout the match. Both players conceded their charges and accepted the punishments without undergoing formal hearings. Afghanistan's Asia Cup campaign came to a six-wicket loss against Sri Lanka, with both Noor and Mujeeb taking a wicket apiece. The series against Bangladesh is an opportunity for the Afghan side to reboot and get ready for a hectic calendar of cricket ahead of the T20 World Cup.
