Meanwhile, Oval will miss the duties of their premier spinner, Rashid Khan, who will be leaving the franchise for international duties. The Afghanistan team is scheduled to play a tri-nation series against Pakistan and the UAE, followed by the Asia Cup 2025. Adam Zampa, who played a crucial role for the defending champ in the 2023 and 2024 victories, has been recalled. He is familiar with this group and Surrey as well, having played in the Blast.” Adam Zampa missed this year’s Hundred due to international commitments for the Australian team, where he was a part of Australia’s T20I series win against South Africa. He also featured in the ODI leg, but the hosts lost the three-match series 1-2; it was their fifth consecutive ODI series loss against South Africa.
