During the match, Ahmed dismissed Shubman Gill with a brilliant delivery, finishing with figures of 1/28 in his ten-over spell. His signature celebration, where he folded his arms and stared at Gill, sparked criticism from some former cricketers, including Wasim Akram. Abrar Ahmed will now shift his focus to Pakistan’s upcoming T20I and ODI series against New Zealand, which is scheduled to begin on March 16.
