The former India assistant coach, recently relieved from national duties, has been roped in as a mentor for the Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals in the upcoming T20 Mumbai League 2025. Alongside him, ex-India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey will lend his experience to ARCS Andheri. Nayar’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Along with Nayar, fielding coach T. Dilip and fitness expert Soham Desai also faced the axe. Yet, the man from Mumbai did not pause. He swiftly realigned himself with Kolkata Knight Riders, slotting back into their think tank for IPL 2025.
