The legendary South African cricketer and Ex-RCBian, AB de Villiers, has recently hinted about his comeback to the competitive cricket. However, the 40-year-old has made it clear that he won't be returning to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) or SA20, the premier T20 league of the former cricketer's nation. Mr. 360 revealed that his visit to a training session with his children has reignited his passion for the game. Moreover, his temptation to make a comeback is also a result of some pressure from his kids. He further added that he is willing to do it for his kids, despite off a blurry left eye and people may soon witness him enjoy some casual cricket. To the journalist (Melinda Farrell) of Running Between the Wicket show, AB de Villers said: "I might still play cricket one day. No confirmation whatsoever, but I am starting to feel it. My kids are putting me under a bit of pressure, and I feel like I could go to the nets with them. If I enjoy it, maybe I will walk out and play a little bit of casual cricket somewhere again—nothing professional like the IPL or South African tours." He added: "Who knows? But we’ll see. I am going to try it again and see if this eye is still working. It’s a bit blurry, but this (the right one) is the dominant one, and it’s working fine. So, I’m doing it for my kids, and I am going to see if I can go out there and enjoy cricket again." "Nothing serious, though. We’re not talking about RCB and the big stuff. I don’t want to feel that pressure again. That’s the thing. So, wherever I go, I will have a bit of fun." The legendary cricketer announced his retirement from international cricket in 2018 but kept playing for RCB in IPL till 2021. The cricketer later announced the retirement from all forms of cricket later that year in November. Since then, AB de Villlers has been enjoying his time with his friends and family and has also been in connection with the fans through his YouTube channel and social media.
